The Match Game Lesson Plan Summary

 My Job Match Game Summary

This summary sheet is intended to engage the member in capturing both what has been discussed, as well as begin to lay groundwork for the next steps in the work and career development process. This list is not intended to be in order or preference. It is an iterative process that can be repeated as new job or career ideas arise.

This process is a great opportunity to activate creativity and brainstorming to generate in-program job simulations (example: if interested in working in a flower shop can create excursion to go buy flowers and return to program to cut and arrange flowers in a vase).

These are jobs I wish to explore:

1. Job #1:

  • What I like about the job
  • What I still need to learn about the job (ex: how much it pays, qualifications, training, etc.)
  • What’s next? Ideas for learning more - internet research, guest speaker, site visit, tour, talking to people who work in the job, simulate activity in program milieu, etc.
  •

2. Job #2:
