Purpose: Prepare Members for our visit to Boston Society of Arts and Crafts.
Objectives:
- Provide historical background on Boston Society of Arts and Crafts (BSAC) and the American Craftsman Movement.
- Explore the mission of BSAC.
- Generate questions to ask on our tour.
Materials needed:
- Worksheets
- Pens, pencils, markers etc.
- iPad, computer or smart board
Activity Steps:
- Watch Society of Arts and Crafts in Boston
- Discuss crafts that Members may have done or encountered.
- Read and discuss worksheets at table.
- As a group, brainstorm and record a list of questions to ask on our tour.
